Welcome to the Website of the Gold Coast
Game Fish Club Inc. Established in 1970, the GCGFC is not only
Queensland's oldest incorporated Game Fish Club but it is also currently
Queensland's largest by both membership and tournament participation.
Each year our Club conducts an annual competition for its members, as well as hosting two (2) open Tournaments, our Riviera Light Tackle Masters in January and our Cabo Blue Marlin Classic in April, where we principally target billfish. Our Club is an affiliated member with the QGFA, GFAA & IGFA. |
Gold Coast anglers are very privileged for many reasons, not least
of which is the fact that we have ready access to billfish all year
round including arguably one of the best blue marlin fisheries in
the world. Apart from billfish, there is a myriad of other game fish
species on our doorstep.
Our club members meet on the first Wednesday of each month at 7.00
pm at our Game Fish HQ located at the Marina Quays International.
Members of our club are entitled to a range of services and
facilities provided by the four star Marina Quays International, as well as
having special access to a secured section of this website through
which there is access to high resolution commercial quantity sea
surface temperature graphs, and special charts and data relating to
billfish capture information, as well as many other interactive
services.
